Pete Phillips
I have a lot of old push rods. Send me the length from tip to tip and I will check mine. Also have the roller lifters in pairs of 2 for 1932 50-series. If we knew how far back the same ones are used.... tompett
Hi, I will ask for the length of the push rod. Anyone out there with an old parts catalog, that can tell if roller lifter is 1923 only? TomP
Jim Milewski
I have a 23-6-48 Buick and the parts catalog I have shows parts for the 23 series six cylinders, I show a valve lifter roller #37818, as too other years I don't know - sorry

Pete Phillips
I found an early Buick parts book. Looks like valve lifter assembly is the same for 1922-1923 6-cylinder and the 1922-1924 4-cylinder uses the same lifter assembly. Different part # after 1923 sixes. Same parts book says the push rod is 14-19/32" long. I will check my push rod stock as soon as I can find the time. Pete Phillips
Brian_Heil
The 1923 6 cyl push rod is a bi metal affair. Half steel half aluminum for thermal expansion purposes. Pretty sure I can help with the parts contact me via the email in my signature

Brian_Heil
May I add that TomP was a pleasure to work with. I think it's pretty cool a guy in Germany contacts his buddy in Norway who finds him the parts in Fenton, Michigan.
