1924 6-55 Sport Tourer
Anthony Congratulations and well done. A great find to see a "time capsule" car. I especially love the rear window. Dont forget to keep us up to date with your progress. Remember, it is only original once, so, if i could give you any advise it would be to not "over do it". Fantastic car, especially since you are keeping it original and fixing mechanicals.

cxgvd
You asked for car clubs to join, I would look to the Antique and Classic Car Club of Canada (ACCCC) since they are promoting 3 pre war weekend tours per year. Seeing the cars in the background you should belong to the Antique Auto Club of America and your McLaughlin is welcomed to the Buick Club of America. Is the touring car in the background, missing its hood, a Stanley? The Ford, without front doors, is welcomed to join our Snapper's ( pre '16) week long tour In Chatham, On next July. Good luck with your fantastic find. Gary PS. I have a 1915 McLaughlin.
Hubert_25-25
Thank you for posting all the great photos. That is such a rare car and in such good unrestored condition. What a time capsule. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Edited January 13, 2020 by Hubert_25-25 (see edit history)
garnetkid
Wow!! Anthony what an excellent project. If you are in need of an ignition/light switch I have one like that in your photo. Mine is made by Kellogg and is part No1133 marked on the back of the guage. Leon
Terry Wiegand
Anthony, I REALLY like your photo documentation. The 1944 Canadian license plate is really nice too. Terry Wiegand South Hutchinson, Kansas
nickb
Hello Anthony What a great car you've acquired, well done! I'm sure you will get a great deal of pleasure in recommissioning it! I enclose a couple of images of the rear window of a 21-45 McLaughlin Buick I owned a few years ago. I sold it to a Frenchman in La Rochelle. As you can see it has the same, lovely shaped, bevelled glass rear window and also cute oval ones for the side curtains. The McLaughlin Buicks were very luxurious, with their wooden dashboards and lockable cupboards and also the nickle plating on the metalwork for the top hoops. Looking at these photos after such a long time, make me regret ever having parted with the car...

bradsan
Anthony As if we were not all jealous enough about the car (which is amazing) what about the beautiful garage? That building is beautiful in and of itself!. Do you have a separate workshop because that looks way to nice to work in! The car looks very much at home in it! Are those three cars we see the other McLaughlins you were speaking about? Brad

The top is missing. I have one I can sell you, when you pick up your gas tank we can take a look around at some of the parts I have for model 49.
