What is with the Swiss Army Knife logo on the wheels that are to fat to fit in the wheel wells? Could never afford one but know it looks like crap, glad the Pierce Arrow owners were saved an embarrassment. Bob

I wonder what the Fire Truck builder Pierce thought of the new car builders attempt to use the name. Pierce has a model they call the Arrow as well as several other fire fighting models in their line up.

Pierce Fire Apparatus pre-dates Geo. N. Pierce/Pierce-Arrow--I think the fire apparatus company dates to 1894.  As I understand it, fire apparatus did not pose a risk of confusion with Pierce-Arrow, which had never built fire trucks, although their chasses were used on some.  (Glad I'm not a trademark or intellectual property attorney.)  Last Pierce-Arrow trucks were built about 1932, I believe.
