Reaper1 Posted January 6, 2020 Share Posted January 6, 2020 That seal is a problem. The reason is that it runs all the way up the A-pillar and is glued in place up there if I remember correctly. I possible solution is to find a good seal, cut it, then splice it to the upper part of yours if that is still OK. A small rubber hose that fits inside the extrusion can act as a splice. Garnet & Gold Posted January 6, 2020 Share Posted January 6, 2020 Yes Reaper1 it is glued onto the A-pillar and it will tear very easily. I tried removing one in a junk yard and it tore. Shelbyone if you find 2 of them let me know. This problem I believe happens when the car is kept in the garage and the door is not opened far enough and your feet hit that spot on the weather striping.
