Jolly_John
This is ANOTHER STROMBERG AAV-26 carburetor I have for sale. This particular STROMBERG carb number is most correct (because of the specific vacuum starter switch) for 1938 and 1939 BUICK 60, 80 and 90 series (Century, Roadmaster and Limited). However, guys also use these on their 1940 60, 80 and 90 series Buicks, and their 1942, 1946 and 1947 big series Buicks. Please note that this carb has been nicely converted to manual choke operation. Has a bracket that secures both the factory hand throttle carb, and the added hand choke cable. Can be easily converted back to automatic choke operation, if desired. This STROMBERG AAV-26 carb is complete, and likely was a take-off from many years ago. However, it should be considered a good core for rebuilding, rather than a carb that can be used "as-is". I just can't speak to its operating condition. The choke and throttle butterflies operate freely. Nothing is rusted. The price is $125, plus the shipping. Thanks for looking.
