The guy said it is on the "back burner" as the other projects take up room in his garage....it's a four speed....

So one has to wonder what's in the garage?

Apparently saw equipment. It is a small, one man lumberyard.

T

Nice car too bad

the only function it seems to perform now is keeping the pigeon poop off the floor.

If I had a dollar for every, "it's on the back burner" or "I'm gonna get to it one day", I'd be rich. Some people just don't know when to let it go! It is too nice a car to be treated that way.

I had a ride from Baltimore to Watkins Glen, NY in one of those split-window cars in 1964 to attend the races.  The car had been gone through and well tuned, stuck to the road like glue.  In the Watkins Glen area, we rounded a corner at well over 70-80 mph, passed an original Ford GT-40 coming the other way at way over the speed limit. A few milliseconds of a genuine high.  My best Corvette memory.

The value goes up with more dust and poop. You can not have a clean barn find. I bet the owner is feeding those birds.

Maybe that's the problem with the cord.  I just need a few homing pigeons and some straw/ hay.   Maybe even a rabid cat to sign the interior or a bag of mice.

And a story about a famous person walking past the car at some point.

Had a split window fuelie. Before the cage on a hard turn was room at the top of the door for a hand to fit through. Was a real flexible flyer. Today I like a six-speed Crossfire coupe better.
