A well balanced engine is a pleasure to observe, as well as to drive. Some years ago during a stop at Fort Drum, NY on a VMCCA Tour, Wayne Funk, a Michigan friend of Winton fame, balanced a nickel on the cylinder head of his running '24 Packard.
