Hello fom Spain,

I show with all of you a photo of this wonderful Pierce Arrow that it was displayed in a Spanish classic car event last September. What model is it???

Not the  expert on the  Pierce but I  would  say  its  a 1933 Model 1236 Salon Club Sedan

It’s a 1933 Pierce Arrow factory bodied 5/7 passenger sedan. If it has jump seats it’s a seven passenger, if it has a decider window, it’s an Enclosed Drive Limousine. It’s the most common car/body style they made.

It could be either an 836 or a 1236. From this view the only way one could tell would be the 12 or the 8 stampeded into the hubcap skin. The cars are nearly identical except for the engines. I just sold an identical 836 this weekend, after 42 years of ownership. I seldom sell a car, and this one was especially difficult to part with. I'm afraid that the separation anxiety will linger for some time.

Deepest sympathy, Bill. You are a far tougher man than I am. I wish you an eventual full recovery.    -    Carl
