Cargirl
Well, if you want car troubles, put a for sale sign on your car! My AC light came on. I looked up previous posts and thought it lead to a replacement of the low AC switch. It is holding a charge and the AC light comes on for a minute after I clear the codes but then the compressor switches off and the light come on. I have a B447 code and a r344 afterward. Any suggestions? Just to be clear, the switch I replaced is the one connected to the rear AC line with two wires attached.
89REATTAJIM
You may try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes or so. It has worked on mine. Only problem is you will have to reset your radio settings etc.

Karlw144
More info please. How much charge? Do you have a way of telling what the charge is? What are the suction and discharge pressures and what is the ambient temp? Pressures before you turn on the ac and when it cycles off? thanks
Cargirl
I guess you do learn something every day. Apparently, the sensor in the Reatta not only recognizes the pressure in the system but also how many pounds of Freon the system actually has. My mechanic knew this thankfully. I am getting the system evacuated Monday and refilled properly. My Autozone AC gauge just was not up for the job. Thanks guys, hopefully someone in the future that has this issue will find this thread
