DB26
Hello everyone. I was reading through the manual for my 1926 Dodge Brothers and it states the bulbs used in my vehicle include 21 CP, 4 CP, 3 CP and 2 CP. Obviously the higher power bulbs like the headlights and tail light I will keep at 21 CP, but was wondering if it would make any bit of difference if I just used 6 CP for the other bulbs. I would think slightly brighter bulbs all around would be beneficial and their values aren’t so terribly off that it would cause an issue. Am I wrong? Frank DuVal
As long as the current draw (measured in amps) does not exceed the capacity of the wire and generator. If there are LED versions, then current draw will be minimal, so no issue then.
DB26
Thank you. The reason I ask is because I just bought a box full of NOS 6 CP bulbs.
