GregLaR
Just out of the booth yesterday. I picked up this '65 Corvette about 6 months ago. Been off the road, disassembled since 1981 but a complete numbers match car, nicely optioned. Finally got it's first repaint in 54 years in the original Nassau Blue. NCRS archives shows it was a GM executive order car and spent it's whole life (mostly in pieces and garaged) right here in Southern California. Now comes the fun part, putting it all back together!
keiser31
GORGEOUS! Cannot wait to see the assembled version. Are you gonna do progress reports or an assembly thread?
GregLaR
Thanks keiser. I will give reports as the work progresses. This one's a labor of love so I expect it to go together quickly. I completed the drive train and suspension before it went to the paint shop. Complete new interior and replated bumpers, etc. are all sitting in my garage, ready for installation.
