First Junior Award. 1918 Rauch and Lang. Full frame up 2 year restoration to original. All glass, including curved glass,  replaced with laminated safety glass.

Wow, great to see that car looking its best! I'd admired it for a long time but it never looked like that. Nice work!

It wasn't in as good shape as it first appeared.  Required a good bit of woodwork and we had to fabricate a completely new wiring harness. Would love to have shown it for the Senior and at a Grand National but it is now on its way to its owner in Paris. The previous owner was at Hershey and gave us his blessing, which was nice.

I very much enjoyed seeing this car at Hershey, and thank you and your son for talking to me about it.  I am just about to undertake a restoration of a Detroit myself.  Thank you for bringing it.  It was a joy to see.

Talking to folks about their projects is one of the most fun things to do at shows.  Good luck with your Detroit.  We did a good bit of work to a Detroit some years ago,  as well as a Milburn.  Interesting side note;  Read the other day that in 1920 there were 1750 Electric delivery vehicles operating in Chicago alone.
