smokuspollutus
Hi all, I've been looking for a final drive out of an 82-84 Riv T Type. These years used a 3.36 axle ratio and I would like to pick one up for an Eldorado I'm working on. Does anyone have one kicking around? Or alternatively, the entire transmission assembly? I've had a thread running for a while down in the FS/WTB forum but unfortunately no luck as of yet. Maybe there's more Riv-specific traffic here? Feel free to delete if a WTB is not appropriate here. Thanks guys Anthony

RivNut
In case you're not aware of it, there's a forum for 79-85 GM E-bodies. www.79-85gme-bodies.org (or something close.) Started by a couple of ROA guys.

RivNut
Where do you live? I wanted a set of wheels off of a discarded T-Type I found at a residence outside Kansas City, MO. The owner wouldn't sell just the wheels, he wanted to sell the entire car. I negotiated with a salvage yard to buy the car and I'd get the wheels. The salvage yard is about 50 miles east of Kansas City. I don't remember the name but I can find it if you want to call and see if the car is still there. smokuspollutus
Ed, sorry I just saw your reply. I am located in NY, so Kansas City is kind of a hike for me. If the yard seems like the place that might shipping, I would appreciate it immensely if you were able to get in touch with them. Thanks so much Anthony Edited February 11, 2020 by smokuspollutus (see edit history)

smokuspollutus
Still looking, and as an update it seems as though some '85 T-Types may have also had the 3.36 axle. Interested to hear if anyone has anything. Thanks
