MrEarl
While the dream of participating in a ‘54 Special sedan in this great race has faded, I still hope to make it to a race someday. Here’s some Instagram shots of this last years race held a couple weeks ago The ‘54 some copilot, yes 1

But maybe we should take your fitty and I’ll copilot 🤣 4
50ChevyFrank
I watched lots of YouTube videos of the races and it seems very exciting. It would be very cool to watch. Even cooler to participate. It’s not a middle class guys sport though.

RivNut
I think that Mr. Earl will be looking for a navigator. Any volunteers? 1

It worked, and I offered to replace the item. Her mother was impressed, but her father was not amused, or was it the other way around?

MrEarl
So I sold this guy a set of pristine front vent windows for his race car. After learning of my love and enthusiasm for '54's, he sent me this awesome competitor jacket (a bit small I might add) and an invitation to come down to the race which I regrettably had to turn down. He also emailed me some photos of him with his car and some old photos, some of which were new to me. oh, and he also sent me a hat... I can see why he needs the vent glasses
