Ric Dean
... Front Splash Pan I.D. Dodge help needed. There was a 1917? Dodge still in the field where this Splash Pan was, is there any connection? Note the 1930 CAL Lic-Plate was still attached. Thank you for your input Edited October 26, 2019 by Ric Dean (see edit history)

72caddy
I don't think a DB had that pan until 1918 or 1919. It could have been added later...

businesscar1917
My 1917 screenside had one on it when I found it in 1979. It was a farm truck the farmer's didn't add extra parts so I would think it was installed by the factory but it's hard to say.

The firewall also had a number stamped engine side, right about even with the hood side hinge.
