I won't give an estimate unless I see the car, too many variables.

The 1988 does not carry a premium price. The only thing that might make

an '88 worth slightly more than a similar '89 would be perfect suede/leather

seats. Those were only on the first 1800 built.

Tom Jenkins just posted the color combinations for all years

If things follow normal stages, Reattas will becom collectible arounf 2008-2011.

Until then it is a used car. A very interesting one but there are too many for sale for the prices to rise much yet and certain items can be very expensive to fix (and not be obvious when they are about to fail).

Personally would be rather leery of a car with less than 2-3k miles/year since some things fail more with disuse and age than miles.

Bought mine because I liked it and was a bigger Fiero, is a daily driver, not a coffee table.

Following that train of thought;

Seems to be generally a proliferation of aggrevating electrical gremlins with Reattas'

Mine being a "Driver" I don't seem to have many of those problems.

"Use or Lose it" seems to apply. tongue.gif

Look at prices in places like Hemmings, e-Bay, autotrader.com, etc. That's the best way to get a feel for what it is worth. If I had to guess, I'd say $10-12K, but that's just a guess.
