dcdon
I'm trying to help a friend in Africa who has one of these over there. He asked me to try and find him a carb to purchase for this vehicle. I'm not sure what carb it currently has on it. I'm looking for a full carb, as I don't have the old one to send for a rebuild. I can provide some vehicle numbers from the registration information he sent me, if any of these help identify the exact configuration. R1973617 . , Model = F1300 , Sedan,. Does this carb exist in an aftermarket form that can be bought new? Any help would be appreciate.
BearsFan315
1930 Chevrolet I would look for a Carter RJH-08 136s or 150S easily found on ebay and on site. few guys rebuild and sell them, make sure you get a rebuilt one by a reputable builder, i know of 3 guys that build quality Carter RJH-08, gotta have the right tools and equipment to service and rebuild them !! obsolete
I should have a fairly good unrestored RJH-08 updraft carburettor. Thanks obsolete@pnc.com.au
Cabnut
1929 used 125S for early in the year and 136S for latter part of year. 1930 and 1031 used 150S. I have a NOS unused 150S Carter carburetor with original ID tag on it.
