Sparkplug wire loom

Did anyone know how this comes apart?  We would like to remove and paint it, but can't figure out how to separate the halves to free it from the wires.

Huh?

Pull the wires through it and paint, I belive the 2 sections are welded together, never known anyone that split it to paint it, good luck

I do not see anyway those wires will pull through that.

You can carefully pull from the cap end to the plug end. Plug end will come through as I have changed my 52 a few times. Just go slow and careful. Worst case remove the plug ends and then pull out the wires. After reinserting wires reinstall or use new plug ends.

Yep.

Gotta remove the ends.Probably easiest to remove the caps from the distributor side and pull the wires through.

squirt some lube in there to break the rust free.

I would be inclined to replace the wires these enclosed looms are a famous place for plug wires to leak sparks.
