Buick35
Probably a dumb question but I don't want to buy a water pump right now if I don't need to. Like I stated earlier the weep hole on top of the pump has a small amount of water in it. I noticed it after I screwed in the shutoff for my water heater. Could that possibly be related? My luck probably not. It's the later ball bearing type pump. I blew out the hole with compressed air and I'll keep an eye on it. I also opened the heater valve back up.Thanks,Greg.
Buick35
I ran the car again today and I didn't see any signs of water in the hole.I only got the temperature up to about 150 degrees though so the thermostat probably didn't open yet,not sure if that would matter.
