Tools needed to do 1963 Dodge tie rod ends

Recommended Posts

Best tools needed to change out tie rod ends and idler arm bushing on 1963 Dodge 880.  In the near future going to do new center link, tie rods (inner and outer) and idler arm bushing.  What might I need in my tool inventory ?

They also list a tie and pitman puller.  Would that not be better then beating on stuff?  Never done tie rods before.

Tie rod and pitman arm puller is the best way to prevent shock damage through the steering gear.

With those tools you can also remove good parts with out damage to the rubber boots too...tie rods and ball joints etc.

I see they come in different sizes and am curious if anyone knows of the correct size for early 60's mopars?
