I have a 400 smallblock chev 1979-80  ?   the first set of digits on the front block pad are   f 02 14 tly    meaning  built in  f= flint , 02 14= on feb 14 ,   tly=  1980  I can not figure anything using the partial vin stamped on the same  engine code pad.  the partial vin is   ca4129138  Is there any where to find out the meaning of this number  I am in Canada so I figured the 1st letter  C = Canada   but I can not   find out how to decode the partial vin , the 400 sb is in a 1980 jeep  not sure if original to jeep , because the jeep is gone …  any help with these numbers is greatly appreciated... rick
