AnaRamona 15
Hi, I'm looking to buy a complete windshield wiper motor system for my 66 Riviera, but I can only find ones for the 69 Riviera. Is it possible to make the 69 work on my 66? Any tips? Thanks!
John_S_in_Penna 3,392
Ana, you may get some answers here, but I suggest posting your question also in the topic "Buick Riviera-- Riviera Owners' Association." Just scroll down the list of topics, and you'll see that category among other Buick-related categories. Plenty of Riviera specialists will see your question there. They are likely to have the part you need. All the best to you! 1
joe_padavano 1,835
I'm not sure what a " complete windshield wiper motor system " is, but the wiper motor is GM part number 4916037. It only fits 1965-66 Buick, Olds, and Cadillac full size, Riv, and Toronado. The 69 motor will NOT fit. Search that GM part number and you'll find potential vendors on the web. There's at least one NOS motor available on the web. Be sitting down when you see the price.
