Car Class

Before a Classic can be called a CCCA Senior car, it has to obtain a First Place in the Primary Division. Once that is accomplished, the car is issued a CCCA Senior Oval Badge, which is affixed to the car. The next time the car is judged, it will be entered into the Senior Class. The owner has no choice in making this class change. All Classics winning a First Place in the Senior Division (you get a ?Senior Oval Badge?) are then moved onward to either Premier, Senior Emeritus Judged, or Senior Emeritus Exhibition classes. The choice of these classes is at the request of the car owner.

Premier is the most difficult of all CCCA Judging Classes. Cars entered here must score at least 97 points and be within one point of the highest scoring car. This can be really difficult. For instance, a 98 point car will get no award if there is another car in the same Premier Class that scores 100 points. There are no seconds or thirds in Premier.

Senior Emeritus Judging is open to all Senior and Premier Classics that have won First Place in their respective division, not less than three years prior to the present competition. Multiple awards are made to all cars scoring a minimum of 93 points.

Senior Emeritus Exhibition is a non-competitive division for all Senior, Senior Winner and Premier Classics that have won a First Place in their respective division. There is no waiting period to participate in this class.

It?s really not as complicated as it sounds.
