60FlatTop Posted September 6, 2019 Share Posted September 6, 2019 Don't rule out taking your steel cover to a small nonferrous foundry and asking them to make one. Or make up a wooden mold for them to use. Some of the small shops with induction furnaces can slip you right in with another aluminum job. A lot of them like a small interesting job. Might end up doing a finned side cover as well. "When I was a kid" they called me a millwright and we would cast a lot of our own consumable parts.
