CTCV
1932 series 97. On the bottom of the steering column was a small metal box that had electrical connections . One of the levers on the steering wheel connected to it. Anyone have a good one? Thanks Tony
Robert Engle
The light switch was common to all domestic 1932 Buicks. The cover for the switch was common to all 1931 and 1932 Buicks. The switches are scarce. I sold all my spares years ago. Bob Engle

FLYER15015
I think it is called a "clum switch" and if memory serves me, Gary W. rebuilt his, or something like it. OR check the Chrysler forum for someone who has done theirs. OR just google clum switch. Mike in Colorado
Robert Engle
The switch for the Buick is a Delco Remy switch. They would not be common to Chrysler products. Some people call them column switches as they work off the bottom of the steering column. There are people that specialize in repairing all types of antique car electrical switches. I don't have any experience that would cause me to make a recommendation. I would think that if you looked in a Hemmings magazine you would find a number of vendors that rebuild these old electrical components. midman
Tony, I think I have a couple of the switches with covers I bought a few years ago. I’ll look in my spares in the garage tomorrow and let you know. Chuck

midman
Tony, I'm glad you posted, I forgot all about digging that light switch out. Anyway, here it is, complete with the cover. I think I paid $50 for these so that is what I would need out of it plus $10 for shipping, or I can bring it to Hershey if you'll be there. I have a space in the green field. I am not sure if it works but I do remember checking them for continuity and they all checked out that way. No guarantees though as it is obviously used. If you want it PM me with your address or let me know to hold it for Hershey. Thanks, Chuck
Robert Engle
Be sure to form an insulating piece of material and fit inside the cover. Things get crowded around all the connectors on the switch and you don't want any to short to the cover. Bob Engle
CTCV
Hi Chuck, I am not sure why I did not see your reply earlier. I did not make it to Hershey this year. I have to look at my Buick again and compare your switch. I'll be in touch. Tony
