jeff_a
The first "opportunity", the Electra, needs Lambo Doors to really complete "the look". Look what that did to this car the excellent guys at Lambo doors 4U are calling a Pontiac Catalina. The 1st thing I think is Wow, that makes it look like a Lamborghini Countach! The 2nd thing is Isn't that more like, uh, an Olds Cutlass? = Edited August 19, 2019 by jeff_a (see edit history)

Marty Roth
Not for the cautious restorer? Take an agressive stance, take a second look, then run, not walk, run in the opposite direction.

60FlatTop
A friend of mine passed away a couple of years ago. He used to chide me about being a crook for buying and reselling cars similar to those. I always had money to pay for his coffee when we went out. I told him that it was a huge injustice to usurp a potential buyer's right to buy an item I owned. To throw something away and not offer it on the market is certainly nothing I would want to be accused of. A few years ago four of us were standing in my garage. Myself, my wife, a friend, and his wife. I had a car sitting in the back that was similar to the Porsche and the MB. The other woman said to my wife "You let him buy that?". When they left my wife asked me "What did she mean?" I told her to pay no attention, discussion over. My wife was very pleased with the gift I bought her with the windfall money. These are hobby items. Aren't they discretionary purchases? One surely wouldn't use grocery money on them. Bernie
Mark Wetherbee
Both the Porsche and MB have two things each that is for sale, a VIN and Salvage TITLE... a chop-shop’s dream for any similar stolen car... What did you think he was selling there?
