I  am  interested    in  the   size   4   snubbers .  One   question  is  how  does  the   attached  bracket   clamp  to  the  frame  rail?

There is no standard way they attach to the axle or frame.... lots of variations based on Make

Except for a few specific sets I can give you a choice of attachements but likely only one rather than a pair as I don`t have pairs.

I would like to have a set of shocks for my car. This is the only image I have of what was found on a 1925 Buick. Only specified for the Large 120" WB Sedans and all 128" WB cars. This is from a car in Harold Warps Pioneer Village Museum. 1925 Model 54C.

My1925 Model 45 touring car has evidence that there were the Gabriel Shocks installed at one time. I have several partials in the parts that came with the car. It looks to mount very close to the frame as opposed to what the #4 show. I will have to dig out those shocks to verify what number is stamped on them.

Also shown on my friends 1927 Model 54 Sport Roadster.

I dug them out...

This is the complete one. The other is missing the cover.

They are #3 size. The 1/2" stem does not seem to fit the holes in the frame. There are no attachment points hardware for the front axle but there are for the rear axle.

OK   I  do  need  the   size   4    snubbers   for  my   GMCDo  you   still  have  the   pr   of  sz  4   and  the  appropriate  fittings  to   install? Thanks IMG_9893.jpeg.f286c3635aab3fb82f20743e8013a189.jpegIMG_9839.jpeg.463e8aa620e551743ac25ecfd5a00e43.jpeg

sent you a private message. Note that the mounts on the snubber are not changeable as far as I can tell. Mine would seem to be for mounting on the other side of the frame compared to the one you show,

The 2  #4`s would mount like this last pictire and if you just wrap it around the back axle like in the picture you don`t need a bracket.

I assume you are looking at my pictures of the #4 units

let me know if you have specific questions
