Mars
I hit a huge pothole and it dented the edge of my rim. I was able to bang it back out, but when I removed the tire to mount a new one I wasn't able to get it to clinch properly. It's like it was warped somehow making it unable to align the two ends. I don't know if it can be reworked to align again. I would like to replace if possible or fix. Thanks
JACK M
There are rim straightening services. Try Google for your area. You might get lucky and find a good used one.
Spinneyhill
I believe you are talking about a rim off a wood spoke wheel for a 1930 CF De Soto. A good operator might be able to straighten it for you in a press.
Mars
My bad, yes it's the rim for a wood spoke wheel. It's not a solid rim, it bypasses when unclinched. So a regular rim straightener probably won't work. Ideally I would like to buy a good used one. Need some leads please. 19" , 30 Desoto

keiser31
I have more than one extra rim band. Is there a reason you are not answering my replies? Edited August 18, 2019 by keiser31 (see edit history)
Mars
Sorry, Things have been a bit upset here. How much do you want for two rims? I'm assuming they are true. How would they be shipped?
keiser31
Where are you located? Probably $20.00 each for the rims plus shipping. You can just have the escutcheon w/o charge. I will box them up and ship according to location.
