It might help to post which engine you are needing a head for, as 3 different engine families were used in 1956 Plymouths.

Have a 1962 wide block 318 engine and transmission from a '62 Dodge with push-button transmission. Runs well, whole car only has 64,000 miles, no smoke, no leaks. Doesn't need a rebuild. $450 for all, plus freight.
