trini
Good morning. On a 1928 D B Senior, is there any thing like anti squeak material between the front fenders and the frame onto which they are bolted ? Thank you for replies. Harry.

trini
I checked for article and there is none. What I am trying to find out " Is there any type of anti squeak between the front fenders and frame ?" Owners did many modifications but I would like to keep everything to original near as possible. RichBad
I’m pretty sure they only had it between the body and the frame up to the front of the scuttle. I don’t think there was any under the front wings however (possibly because there’s less movement between the parts). However, on mine I put a thin strip of fabric tape - more to just stop damaging the paint so much.
trini
Good going ,mate. Thank you. I will do the same. I will be painting the wings black, both front and back. I think that is the way it was. I know the back carries anti squeak. Steele Rubber has them. Good quality too. Cheers. Harry..

Taylormade
My 32 DB definitely had a thin woven material between the frame and the front fenders. I replaced it during my ongoing restoration. I can post pix if it would help.
