MTB
Recently purchased a 63 Riviera with the A/C, defroster, Air, Temp, etc controls that are under the dash. Is there any info available or sites showing the function of these sliding controls? Hard to tell which direction, forward or backwards changes the function. Thanks so much. KongaMan
A word of warning: if any of the controls are hard to move, DON'T force them. The internal levers will break long before you loosen whatever is stuck (e.g. heater valve). 1
MTB
Thanks for all the help and words of warning (wisdom). I've ordered a shop manual to have for reference.
RivNut
If you're a member of the ROA, you can find measured drawings for reproducing the broken levers KM mentioned above. Jim Cannon can explain to you how to use a vacuum operated temperature valve in place of the non-existant, non-repairable manual valve. It's temp valve that corroded and freezes up. You break the lever trying to move the valve.

MTB
Is there a good source to buy rear passenger seat belts and installation instructions? Thank you.

OPGI has seat belt kits, as do other parts outlets. They aren't exactly like stock but they are (or should) be safety rated. Check Classic Industries also. They don't carry Riviera parts but they do stock a wide variety of Buick A-Body parts, including seatbelt kits. You'll get a much larger audience if you start a new dedicated thread rather than hijacking one that does not pertain to your subject. You don't state the year, make, and model for your car. If it's a 63, 64, or 65, search the forum for an illustration that I posted some time ago that shows where the body has dimples properly located for drilling holes for the rear seat belt bolts and anchors. Check out Wescoperformance for classic belts and approved mounting hardware. You just can't bolt seat belts to your floor board. They have a lap belt that you can get with a latch that is very correct for the period. (chances are OPGI uses them or another like firm for their source then jacks up the price as they do with everything else 🤔)
