dome light slide switch info.

Hi, new to the forum. I have a 1946 chevy fleetmaster 2 door coupe. My question is does anybody know if there are 1 or 2 dome light slide switches on the door jamb's. Some one had installed a new headliner and covered both jamb's  and the dome light mounting area. Thanks to anyone that can clarify this for me.

Says it is a 1941 thru 52 Chevrolet dome light switch.

You may want to avoid buying it if you live in California. They say it could expose you to chemical known to cause cancer just like everything else they sell in California to include water and air.  LOL.

Yes that's it. I have the switch but don't know if it goes on drivers side or passenger side.

My folks had a 48 and I think the switch was on the passenger side. Someone will be sure.

Check on page 40, it looks like it may have been automatic. If not it would be on the right side pillar.
