sagefinds
Instrument panel in back, purple diamond cowl lights in front. The speedo is Delco but in a hole made with 40 drilled holes. I've had this for decades, would finally like to know its origin. I've had it at a couple prewar swapmeets but no ideas. Thanks.
1912Staver
Clearly something quite high quality. The cowl lights should be a key identifying feature. I would estimate 1913-14 or '15 at the newest. Greg in Canada
viv w
Maybe some numbers on the lighting/ignition switch may help to identify the car or give a better idea as to the year
Curti
Pierce-Arrows had cast aluminum bodies.
gwells
I can't find anything Pierce-Arrow that comes close. A full shot of the front, engine-side, of the part might be useful.
Mark Wetherbee
Velie is also a possibility. That was another company that made a lot of cast-aluminum bodied cars.
Craig Gillingham
Is that an Eisemann magneto switch?
sagefinds
It is an Eisemann switch. There is a rectangular shadow under it so it's probably not original but a later add-on. The ignition switch also appears to be a later add-on so numbers may not help.
1937hd45
Look at Paige photos from the 1920s.
1912Staver
Built in cowl lights like this one seem out of place on a 1920's car. I am still leaning toward the mid teens. Greg
sagefinds
I appreciate any and all input. Thanks. It's so different I thought someone would nail it in the first five minutes. Must be the Real Elusive Oddment. Please keep it in mind.

sagefinds
Wow,You guys are the best. I had given up on that thing and pretty much forgotten about it. Wonder what the chances are of building one of those beautiful cars around it.
