Jimmy S
Anyone have a cross reference to new points numbers? Looking for replacement points for DR-127. thanks, Jimmy
TerryB
That looks like a Standard Auto Parts logo with the DR-127 number. Check with forum member Old Buicks 2, he sells ignition parts. You might want a new condenser too based on the condition of the points. Edited June 30, 2019 by TerryB (see edit history)
Bloo
Yes, metal transfer like that points to a problem with the condenser.
PFitz
Looks identical to points used in many GMC/Chevy 1930's to late 50's Chevy. I use 48-50 Chevy 6 cylinder when I ask for new points (CS763) like that (or for new condenser, cap, and rotor) at any NAPA. You can bring that point set to NAPA and see if it matches the CS763. lump
I think I have Standard Auto DR-127 points at home, new in the box. I'll check tonight. What is your exact year, model , and engine, so I can be sure I find the correct condenser for you also.
Spinneyhill
Those points are not uncommon. Here are some interchanges; this catalogue finishes at 1974. Edited July 1, 2019 by Spinneyhill (see edit history)
JFranklin
I use them in my '52 Ferguson Tractor. Edited July 1, 2019 by JFranklin (see edit history)
ply33
Based on Spinneyhill's interchange, those are the same as I use on my '33 Plymouth. You should be able to get them at your local better auto supply store. Here is a link to the NAPA version: https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/ECHCS63A?keywordInput=ech+cs63a My notes indicate that it is (or was recently) also available as a AC Delco D111 or CarQuest EC DR-2227P

Same for the cap, rotor, and condenser. Used in several dozen cars and trucks from that era that all use a Delco Remy 640's series distributors . Yours being a 644.
