Delco Ignition System - Distributor Cap

Has anyone out there with an early Delco ignition (Mine is a 1918) found a modern distributor cap that works? I have a good old cap that works, but am wondering what I will do in the future when it succumbs to the test of time.

my neighbor has a 17 db he is putting together, same ignition. in looking for extra parts for his car i was told by an ignition dealer at carlisle the distributor and parts are the same as cadillac that had dual ignition. he also had a cap he thought was worth $200.

Try looking at your local tractor supply store, maybe one of the distributor caps for a tractor might fit. Of course, you'd have to get different wires because the ends would have to be different, but it just might work.
