franklinman
Here at my shop we call that a bad case of the "while we're at its"! The worst one was a 1909 Cadillac Touring that came in for some mechanical service and to have the gas tank cleaned and repaired. Since there is no way to remove the tank without lifting the body off you can guess where that one led to. 1

Spinneyhill
I read a story about a Healey Allard restoration where the owner rolled under to tighten up the sump bolts to reduce the oil leak. Next thing he knew he had dismantled it.

27dodger0
When I painted my 27, I was told by a painter, to go to RODDA paints, as they have an industrial paint section. Iy worked out just great!!!! Chuck

MikeC5
Hi John, Do you add hardener to the acrylic? Is an air filter respirator sufficient or do you need the more elaborate air supplied mask to safely spay it?
John McEwan
No hardener in acylic. Face mask is sufficient imo but if used everyday a respirator would be sensible.

MikeC5
Beautiful job. Do you use a traditional paint gun or an HVLP? Is it just acrylic or acrylic enamel? Edited August 2, 2019 by MikeC5 (see edit history)
