Peter R
Hi I am putting my truck back together and discovered the steering column is too short and rubs against the dash . I suspect that the steering box and column might be from a car and not a truck. I have been trying to remove the column in an attempt to replace it with a longer column from a 1938 pt57. Would anyone know if this is even possible and if so, how does one remove the column from the box ? If all else fails , anyone have a steering box and column from 1937 Plymouth pt50 they are wiling to part with ? Thank you for any help !!
classiccarjack
Do you have the entire steering from the PT57? If so, it will bolt in if complete. Do you have any other parts from the PT57 around? I need some for my Restoration. Thank you, Jack H.
