Rivieraed
I bought a 63 riv that was in the restoration process. I had motor and trans rebuilt. Both were out of the car when I got it. My torque converter has 15 bolts around it’s outer edge and I assume three of them need to be removed so it can be bolted to the flex plate. Does it mater which three bolts I use, as long as the align with the holes in the flex plate?
PONTIAC1953
I don't think it matters
wmsue
Be sure the flex plate is on correctly. I believe it is balanced and if not installed correctly your engine will have the shakes. Bill
Zimm63
I would suggest moving this question to the Riviera board. Lots of expertise there.
