The tack strip that holds the carpet to the plywood in the door is old and rusted and we would like to replace it. It is 39" long, 5/8" wide, and 1/8" thick. Any ideas where I could get such a thing? I will try the cleaning solution but although it looks salvageable, it is weak feeling. I clicked on the link but did not see the strip but I assume that you are saying that this company can provide something similar. Thanks all!
