Smartin
Pretty wild. Reminds me of the 55 Imperial convertible resto-rod that was sold at BJ over the Winter. It went for mid $400k as well.

And assuming that to be true, he could have $411,500 into an authentic restoration also, and for which he would never see a bid anywhere's near close to $412,500 or $411,500. NTX5467
Classic Buick styling meets Late-Model guts and upgrades. Considering that if it's on a custom chassis, which everything else will bolt into, then somebody at least got an "in the park" home run on this one. Everybody scored! Great looking car! Guaranteed to put a smile on everybody's face that sees it, much less the owner/driver. Heck of a deal! NTX5467
RivNut
Jay Leno has featured what the builder calls derelict cars. Modern chassis, suspension, and engine. Restored interior. But the body shop s usually left with the patina in which it came into the shop. Imagine this car with the original paint.
B Jake Moran
I love it, except the wheel choice.
RivNut
I'm betting that the wheels are close to a 20 inch wheel. The red and white, that represent the OE wheel and the white sidewall are actually all part of the wheel. If you watch Chip Foose on Overhaulin', he uses similar wheels on many of his builds.
