Here’s some great early letter openers for sale. All of these items are authentic period pieces and I can supply close up pictures for anyone interested.

Top to bottom:

 

Kelly Springfield tires, beautiful condition; SOLD

“Webber Implement and Auto Company, St.Louis” ; $30

Chevrolet “for economical transportation” dealership in NY; $45

Quaker State Oil; $40

Neel Cadillac with 9-dot crown in the emblem (unusual and early); $100

 

These prices don’t include shipping which is from Zip 28460 in NC. Payment will need to be USPO money order or personal check (I don’t use PayPal any more).

I've always wondered how many different advertising letter openers like these were made.   I'm sure the larger production cars would have the mini-radiator badges on them.   Those advertising garages, repair shops, parts stores, gas and oil companies might not.  So, for those reading here, show us your letter openers!
