Guest reattasteve
It's back and I am looking for a nearby repair shop for the IPC. I remember a place in Waukegan, Ill, being posted last year. If I don't come up with a place nearby I'll contact Electra-Sound in Ohio. Thanks, Steve 90 Burg cpe.
Guest reattasteve
Today I took the IPC out and repositioned the electrical connector, then reinstalled it. Guess what, it works again. Looking at the connector was an idea I got from old messages here that I had looked at. Thanks to this wonderful site my problems are gone for today. Thanks, Steve
Guest EDBS0
Next time you have a spare afternoon take every connector you can findand take them apart. Spray them with contact cleaner and exercise them by connecting and disconnecting repeatedly and spray with cleaner before each reconnecting. Good preventative maintenance. The voltages and currents carried by these wires and connectors are miniscule and any amount of resistance will cause problems.
