Blue90
A couple of days ago I was driving around in the blue coupe when the car just stopped.😮  I tried restarting it but it just cranked without catching.  After a couple of tries it died altogether; nothing when I turned the key. I had the car towed to my mechanic. From what the mechanic could figure out the drive belt tensioner failed, the serpentine belt broke up, took out the crank balancer and sensor and fried the ignition control module.😩

Barney Eaton
Stanley.......the good news is you got everything fixed at once.
DAVES89
I think the ignition frying had nothing to do with the tensioner. But now you know what needs to be fixed.

Correct. The pooling of melted gel is similar to what I experienced last year on the Claret coupe. You would have needed to replace that sooner or later and now you have avoided it. Got it all at once.
