Cured
Hi all. I really enjoy reading about old Buick’s on this forum. I would like to purchase a pre 1920 4 cylinder Buick or McLaughlin touring car to commemorate the first car in our family. Any leads much appreciated. I do have the front half of a 1918 McLaughlin that could even be the very car. I just don’t see making it a whole car again. dibarlaw
Welcome. It seems as though it will be a long time before you will be "CURED" if you start messing around with early Buicks. Many E-35s are around so you should be able to find something. Good luck.
Morgan Wright
In the mean time, what you show in that pic is a valuable parts car. I bet with a little work the engine even starts.
Cured
Thanks guys. The old McLaughlin is almost complete from the transmission forward so will be able to donate a few parts if necessary. PS. I’ll always be cured. My parents named me Ed Curry.
tblack
There was a post a couple of weeks ago. A guy bought an 1918 E35 but was disappointed when he discovered it had a cracked block...if he has buyer's remorse perhaps that would be a good start for you to aquire

Oregon Desert model 45
Here is a touring body if you are trying to collect more parts to go with that front end. It has been advertised on craigslist for several months now and appears to be located in Wisconsin. I don't know if anyone has identified actual year and whether it was a 4 or 6 cylinder model.
