1917 or 18 Buick

Hi all. I really enjoy reading about old Buick’s on this forum. I would like to purchase a pre 1920 4 cylinder Buick or McLaughlin touring car to commemorate the first car in our family. Any leads much appreciated. I do have the front half of a 1918 McLaughlin that could even be the very car. I just don’t see making it a whole car again.

There was a post a couple of weeks ago.  A guy bought an 1918 E35 but was disappointed when he discovered it had a cracked block...if he has buyer's remorse perhaps that would be a good start for you to aquire

That is a good idea tblack. Thanks

Here is a touring body if you are trying to collect more parts to go with that front end. It has been advertised on craigslist for several months now and appears to be located in Wisconsin. I don't know if anyone has identified actual year and whether it was a 4 or 6 cylinder model.
