Saw this on the freeway to town this afternoon. I have always loved those little cars.

Keiser31, they are a LOT of fun !  We had ours for 11 years and it was a hoot every time we started it or drove it !  If you are very large, have a stiff back, or have a left leg, they can be a bit crowded tho, ha !

Neat cars, but hard to get out of gracefully at my age.  I guess all low sports cars are that way.

Sadly, the first time I heard of this make was in the mid 1970's when Canadian NHL Hockey Hall of Famer Tim Horton (for whom the Coffee Chain is named) died after crashing his Pantera at high speed while driving back to Buffalo from a game the previous night in Toronto.  As a big Hockey Fan and a Car Fan, I've always remembered the unfortunate connection between a superb player and a superb car.

Actually, I slightly take that back. The Miura was my favorite followed by the Pantera.

For me it was the Lotus 47 or 62. Cars you can afford fuel and tires for. Plus much more affordable Ford 4's. I had to make do with a earlyish {type 54} Europa, 1969 Canadian market car.
