Braking 65 Riviera

Would the power booster cause the brakes to go to the floor? No visible leaks and no loss of brake fluid. This is a 1965 Riviera with a suicide master.

Nothing wrong with a good quality operating single master cylinder.

^^^THIS. The booster can't physically cause the pedal to go all the way to the floor, only to the point that pressure builds in the hydraulic system.  If the pedal goes to the floor and there are no leaks, there is only one possible cause. The master isn't building pressure because the seals are bad.  It's also likely that fluid is leaking past the seal at the rear of the M/C and being sucked into the booster.  That will eventually cause booster failure.

In my experience a master cylinder sends a message long before it completely fails. If an old car owner fails to heed the message, and check out the problem, is the point at which the suicide is apt to occur. The fact is that the drivers lack of diligence is the method of suicide, the failed master cylinder is just the instrument he chooses to use.
