1957 Cadillac V12 What-If

Exploration of alternative flagship to Eldorado Brougham that might have been profitable at same $13,000 asking price. From A-pillar rearward and below beltline it has the Sixty Special body with side trim removed and skirts added. Greenhouse is from coupe for lower roofline, lengthened 7 inches to replace taller Sixty Special greenhouse. Axle-to-dash increased 5 inches for improved proportions and to help package 496 V12 derived from 331 V8. Possibly Eldorado Brougham theme up front (quad headlights, bumper/fascia/grill) though not necessarily needed. Highest quality materials inside. "Park Avenue" name borrowed from '54 concept seemed appropriate given that this car would not have shared the volume Eldorado's rear styling. Not shown but would have been standard are Eldorado's wheels. Likely a lower program investment and piece cost than EB while still a wonderful car to drive and behold. Thanks and appreciation to owner of red coupe, the perfect donor pic for this work-up. All thoughts welcome.

What is the 370 platform? This car would have used '57 Sixty Special frame and floorpan with 5 inch longer frame rails forward of firewall. V12 would have rolled down same line as 365 V8 and used same bore and as many V8 parts as possible, done in small batches like 50, maybe once a month.
