jeff_a
There will be a car museum auctioned off in Barcelona, Spain May 16th with an interesting Marquette, a 1930 Marquette Landaulette. The Retro Auto Moto Museum opened in 2017. This is the only Marquette landaulette I have ever heard of. I don't have a connection to the car. Museum has 90 cars & motorcycles. I didn't think anyone here would be interested in a 1932 Motobecane or a 1909 Triumph bike.........so left those out. a link to the story: https://oldtimerdaily.com/a-strange-museum-in-barcelona-sells-out/ Edited April 10, 2019 by jeff_a (see edit history)
jeff_a
It has dual sidemounts, RHD, and wire wheels. Someone ought to pop over to Spain, buy it, deal with whatever hellish export issues needed to bring it back here, and show it at the Buick meet in Oklahoma. Don't know if it would stand out there or not, but it would make a neat wedding car. Are Marquettes ever shown at the BCA National Meets?
