Identify Stainless Molding, 50's-60's

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Molding is 51-1/4" long x 7/8" wide, with a 2-1/2" end section flattened as per the photo.  Cllips in 2nd photo were package with the molding.  Pretty sure it's for a Buick---anyone recognize?

I presume it is a front fender side spear.  You will have to post a better of it.  That flattened area appears on numerous cars immediately forward of the front doors with side trim to clear an open door.

51-1/4 inch long could be something off of a rear fender 2Dr. or truck bed . Little long for front fender .

I added a picture in the original post that shows the attaching clips that came with it.

Looks like a 60 Buick quarter molding.  The flattened portion is tucked behind the bumper.  I’m not sure what model had this length though.
