mikeyz123
Hey guys, haven’t been on here in a while, so my carburetor is leaking from the bottom from the silver circle rivot looking thing in the picture. Anyone have any ideas as to why. Thanks in advance
TerryB
Looks like a pressed in plug that might not be sealing as well as it should.
plymouthcranbrook
Might be able to remove it and after a good cleaning JB Weld it back in

Rusty_OToole
If that is all that is wrong I would try a coat of Seal All or similar gas proof sealant. If you have some leftover gas tank sealant that would be good. Maybe even some JB Weld. Although I would prefer not to use an epoxy product because it will make it harder to take out the plug for a rebuild or replacement.
Guest
Why not just remove the leaking plug, clean it's seat and install a new one. It's been done tens of thousands of times. Easy as pie.
